Dear all, please note… Students must first inform their department and obtain a department consent form before applying for a work permit and engaging in part-time work based upon government regulations on remedial matters for students. Here are updated procedures and important reminders specified as follows. 1. Download the “CCU International Student Work Permit Pre-Application” form on the Office of International and Mainland China Affairs website (or get a hard copy at the Office of International and Mainland China Affairs), complete it, and submit it to academic advisor and department office. Download link: https://reurl.cc/VY3aln 2. Obtain the consent from your advisor and department office and get the stamp from them on the Application Form. Complete the submission to the Office of International and Mainland China Affairs. And then upload a scanned photocopy into the DOCUMENT FOLDER of “OTHERS” on the system for application of work permits. Important Reminders on Workplace Safety: For your rights and safety, please ensure you report your work status each semester and seek assistance if encountering any workplace issues. 1. Transportation Safety: Always be mindful of your safety when commuting or riding any type of vehicle during work. 2. Emergency Preparedness: Familiarize yourself with the emergency evacuation routes at your workplace to respond effectively in case of an emergency. 3. Machinery Run: Read and follow the safety guidelines carefully prior to the machine operating. 4. Workplace Harassment: If you experience or suspect workplace sexual harassment, just report it to the responsible department at your workplace or seek assistance from on-campus Gender Equity Education Committee.
