2026 Fall Semester (115-1) Overseas Student Buddy Recruitment
To help newly admitted overseas students complete their registration and enrollment procedures and adjust smoothly to life at Chinese Culture University, the International Office is now recruiting student buddies for the 2026 Fall Semester (115-1).
Currently enrolled Overseas Chinese and international students are warmly encouraged to apply and help new students begin their academic and campus life at CCU.
Buddy Responsibilities
Selected student buddies must cooperate with the International Office's new-student reception arrangements and assigned duties.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with airport pickup and arrival at the University
- Academic Affairs registration and verification of academic credentials
- International Office registration and submission of required documents
- Dormitory check-in and move-in assistance
- Assistance with purchasing daily necessities
- Campus orientation and introduction to the surrounding area
- Assistance with class schedules and course information
- Introduction to campus resources and student support services
- Assistance with opening a post office or bank account
- Transportation information between the University and the city
- Other new-student reception and support duties arranged by the International Office
The relevant support activities must be recorded in the Buddy Program Guidance Record Form.
Buddy Program Scholarship
According to the Chinese Culture University Overseas Student Buddy Scholarship Regulations, student buddies who complete the required duties may apply for the following scholarships:
1. Application and Registration Assistance|NT$3,000
For each new student assisted with completing the online application and enrollment registration, the student buddy may receive a NT$3,000 scholarship per semester.
2. New Student Enrollment Support|NT$5,000
Student buddies must cooperate with the University and International Office arrangements and assist new students with registration and other designated support duties. After completing the required duties, the student buddy may receive a NT$5,000 scholarship.
Important Information
After completing the assigned duties, student buddies must complete the Buddy Program Guidance Record Form, including the required signatures from the new student, the buddy, and the responsible staff member/advisor.
The completed form must be confirmed by the new student's advisor or departmental faculty member and submitted to the International Office within two months after the beginning of the semester before the scholarship can be issued.
